In this article we describe for the first time in the veterinary field the properties of Chios Mastic for dog and cat is a white resin with an opalescent appearance, produced by cutting the stem and branches of a plant that grows on the island of Chios, the lentisk (Pistacia lentiscus), an evergreen shrub of the family of Anacardiaceae.
